Get Involved
This only works when the people who play, coach, paddle, ride, and cheer show up. Here are four ways to be part of it.
Volunteer
There's a role for every schedule:
- Show up to meetings and add your voice
- Help with outreach and spreading the word
- Gather information for the recreation map
- Lead an interest area as a captain
Captains are the heart of the coalition: one person who loves a sport or activity and speaks up for it. We're looking for leads in pickleball and tennis, cycling, surfing, kiteboarding and sailing, paddling, surf fishing and beach access, youth soccer, baseball and basketball, swimming, running, skating and BMX, disc golf, dog parks, trails and birding, and senior and adaptive recreation.
Donate
We're in our founding year and keeping things lean. When we open donations, gifts will be tax-deductible and routed through a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, and we'll be clear about exactly what your money funds.
Partner
Businesses, nonprofits, clubs, schools, and towns all have a part to play. If you run a bike or surf shop, an outfitter, a brewery, a league, or a classroom, let's talk about working together.
